Pathology
What is Pathology?
Pathology is a section of medicine that investigates the causes, origins, and symptoms of sickness. Examining tissues, organs, bodily fluids, and corpses is required for illness study and treatment.
Depending on the methodology used and the conditions examined, pathology is currently divided into eight broad groups. These several fields are discussed in the following sections.
What is Clinical Pathology?
The clinical-pathological study, often known as pharmaceutical diagnoses, is researching and detecting diseases using blood, urine glands, and samples. Blood counts, blood coagulation, and electrolyte levels, among other factors, are provided by these testing laboratories. A clinical pathologist is trained correctly in microbiology, haematology, or blood transfusion, but not to a specialist's degree in some of those subjects.
What does a Clinical pathologist do?
A clinical pathologist may encounter challenges that require specialized knowledge, in which case they should seek the advice of a more experienced colleague. Clinically pathologists work the same way as that general pathologists, even though they're not engaged in anatomic pathology.
What types of tests are performed in India's pathology labs?
At path labs, there are over a thousand different sorts of tests that can be performed. Blood glucose testing, thyroid tests, urine tests, liver function tests, iron tests, and blood tests are all standard tests performed in practically all pathology laboratories in India.
Is it correct to call pathologists' doctors?
Pathologists cannot be called doctors. Pathologists, on either hand, deal with illness diagnosis and aetiology. On the other hand, doctors are engaged in every element of treating patients, including diagnostics, therapy, surgery, and the use of cutting-edge medical technology and software, among other things.
